ABI Online Course
Purpose
To develop an online course to increase clinicians’ knowledge and skill regarding use of the Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) to identify and guide clinical management of lower extremity Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).

Course Objectives
After completing course activities, the learner will:
- Identify individuals at-risk for developing lower extremity peripheral arterial disease (PAD)
- Describe the ankle brachial index (ABI) procedure
- Identify normal and abnormal ABI values based on calculations
- Determine measures or strategies for the early diagnosis and prompt treatment of PAD
